Peter is Vice President at Birch Faraday, focusing on identifying acquisition opportunities and supporting businesses through transaction execution and post-acquisition integration. He works closely with advisors and business owners from initial engagement through to completion and transition into the group.
Peter trained as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, working within international audit teams supporting listed companies across manufacturing, software, plant hire, retail, travel and tourism sectors in the UK and US. He later joined a private investment group where he helped originate and execute acquisitions within industrial manufacturing and distribution sectors, working directly with portfolio company leadership teams to develop growth strategies, improve operational efficiency and strengthen financial reporting.
He has extensive experience supporting bolt-on acquisitions and post-deal integration, including serving as Board Observer for a specialist travel operator and helping deliver acquisitions and operational integration projects.
At Birch Faraday, Peter leads deal origination, acquisition analysis and transaction delivery, while supporting integration and cross-collaboration across portfolio businesses. He also acts as a primary point of contact for advisors and business owners progressing through acquisition processes.
